Poha Idli Recipe

 Poha Idli

 material:

 • 1 cup idli rava

 • 1/4 cup poha

 • 1/4 cup urad dal

 • salt to taste

 • Oil, for greasing


 process:

 • Clean, wash and soak Idli Rava and Poha in water for at least 2 hours.


 • Clean, wash the urad dal thoroughly and soak it in water for at least 2 hours.


 • Sieve the idli rava and rice and mix them in a mixer to make a smooth batter.


 • Filter the urad dal separately and grind them in a mixer with some water to make a smooth paste.


 • Mix both the solutions in a bowl, add salt and mix well.  Cover and keep aside for 6-8 hours for the yeast to come out.


 • Pour a spoonful of batter into oil greased idli molds and steam in a steamer for 10-12 minutes.


 • Using the remaining batter make more idlis.

 • Serve hot.
